Carpooling: how does it work?
Carpooling means sharing a car trip between several people heading in the same direction, splitting the road costs (fuel and tolls). Instead of travelling alone or leaving seats empty, a driver offers their available seats, and passengers book a place on the same route.
MySeatGO applies this principle to intercity trips across Morocco — Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Fès, Tanger, Agadir and many more — in both directions: passengers can search for a posted ride, and drivers can also respond to passengers' requests.
I'm a passenger: how do I find a ride?
Enter your departure city, your destination and your date. The app shows the available rides with the time, the price per seat set by the driver, and the verification details on their profile. All that's left is to book the seat that suits you.
If no ride matches your schedule, you can post your own request. Drivers running that route will see it and can offer you a seat — useful for less common time slots.
I'm a driver: how do I post a ride?
Enter your route, the date, the departure time, the number of available seats and the price per seat. Your ride becomes visible to passengers searching for that connection, and you receive their booking requests to approve.
MySeatGO takes no commission on rides during this phase: the price you set is what the passenger pays you directly. Sharing the costs lets you lighten the expense of your regular trips.
Trust, parcels and payment
Trust is at the heart of the service: every profile shows verification details (identity, phone, and vehicle for drivers) and the reviews left after trips. Built-in messaging lets you settle the details before departure.
Beyond people, MySeatGO lets you send a parcel by entrusting it to a driver already making the trip. Payment is made however you agree with the driver, most often in cash at the time of the trip.
