Sending a parcel by carpool in Morocco: how it works

What is parcel carpooling?

The idea is simple: instead of letting seats travel empty, a driver already making a trip between two cities can also carry your parcel. You take advantage of a trip that's happening anyway, which often makes the delivery faster and cheaper than a traditional courier service.

On MySeatGO, this option comes on top of carrying people: the same network of drivers connecting Morocco's cities can move a document, a small package or a forgotten item.

When is carpool delivery the better choice?

It's especially well suited to urgent deliveries between two well-connected cities — a file to hand over the same day, keys, medication, a gift — where a standard courier would take longer or cost more.

Since the trip already exists, you get great flexibility on timing: you just need to find a driver whose departure matches your need.

How does it work in practice?

Find a ride heading in the right direction, then agree on the details with the driver via the app's messaging: the nature and size of the parcel, the hand-over point at departure and the pick-up point at arrival, and the price. Payment is made however you agree directly with them.

Always describe your parcel clearly, and favour simple, accessible meeting points for both hand-over and pick-up.

Best practices for a successful delivery

Pack your parcel properly and don't put anything fragile inside without protection. As with a passenger trip, check the driver's profile and reviews before entrusting them with your delivery.

Agree on a simple way to confirm safe receipt at arrival — a message in the app is enough — so both sender and recipient are reassured.
