What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender, home city); a profile photo and, for drivers, identity and vehicle documents (national ID, driver license, vehicle registration, insurance, vehicle photos) submitted for verification; precise device location when you use the map picker to choose a pickup point or search an area; trip, request, offer, and booking details you publish; in-app messages between users; and basic device information (push notification token, device model, app version) used to deliver notifications.

Why we collect it

To verify identities and phone numbers for trust and safety, to match trips and requests between users, to enable pickup-point and area search, to process payments, to deliver push notifications, and to provide support when you contact us.

Third-party services

We use Stripe to process card payments - your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure system and never pass through or get stored on our own servers, only the payment amount and status do. We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications, and Google or LinkedIn if you choose to sign in with those providers. Each of these providers only receives the minimum data needed to perform its function (payment details, a device push token, or your basic profile from the sign-in provider).

Who can see it

Your name, rating, and verified badge are visible to other users you interact with. Identity and vehicle documents are only reviewed by our verification team through access-controlled, private storage - they are never shown to other users and are not publicly accessible by URL. In-app messages are visible only to the participants in that conversation; our support team can access a conversation only when needed to investigate a report you or the other participant filed.

Security measures

All data in transit between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Identity and vehicle documents are stored on a private disk that is never publicly reachable, and can only be previewed or downloaded by authenticated staff with a verification role. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe under its own PCI-compliant infrastructure and never reaches our servers.

Data retention

We keep your account and trip data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward as required for dispute resolution and legal obligations. When you request deletion, your account is immediately deactivated and your data is queued for permanent removal after a short retention window kept only to resolve any open bookings, payments, or disputes.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time through in-app support or our Contact page. You can also ask us what data we hold about you and object to a specific use of it; we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

MySeatGO is not directed at children, and users must be at least 18 years old to create an account, consistent with our Terms of Service.
